"Turning the Tide : Wikileaks, Global Activism and the End of Empire" is a series of visual information posters for Peace and Justice activists. It is a resource that may be displayed online as a slide show (see below) and /or downloaded (in whole or in part) for printing as posters or visual info sheets.

Turning the Tide uses the Wikileaks evidence to corroborate the concerns and issues raised by activists and truthful media forever. It highlights the stories of Wikileaks editor-in-chief Julian Assange, severely persecuted whistle-blower Bradley Manning and soldier-turned-peace-activist Ethan McCord. It presents a 'big picture' of global dynamics. Turning the Tide calls for an 'across-the-board' REJECTION of SYSTEMIC CORRUPTION and CRIMINALITY. It celebrates global civil activism and the popular democratic uprisings in the Arab world and everywhere. Turning the Tide points to the alternative to Empire and its dominator model - represented by the surging tide of Earth Community and its partnership model. While presenting a stark image of Empire's inhumanity, Turning the Tide is really about Cheering for Humanity. It presents the stories of individuals like Ethan McCord and Denis Halliday as inspiration for breaking through the vast and intricate matrix of deception and oppression to - once again - reaffirm our authentic, compassionate humanity.

Turning the Tide is about upholding The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

It's about acknowledging that realisation of the noble goals enunciated in this fundamental declaration of our common aspirations for freedom, justice, democracy and dignity in life is reliant upon the collective will and activism of THE super-power of our planet : the People.

Instructions for embedding this slideshow in any website -

We are providing a few different embed codes here.
We suggest trying them out in sequence till you find one that works in your website.

If you have used other flash embed codes successfully then one of these should work.
On many social networking sites you will find that this does not work at all :-(

IMPORTANT – size it to your page: the size set here fits on our page – 100% x 850 pixels.
You may need to adjust the height to fit on your page. Leaving the width at 100% to adjust itself is recommended.
There is a full screen button in the slideshow so you can display it fairly small if you want to.
NOTE: In the first three methods you have to change the width and size in two separate places!
Otherwise it will not work in all browsers.

Just change the height and the width will adapt proportionally.

Cut and paste the code between the lines
into the html code of your page.

This is the code we use on an html page - try this first
